We do not use tracking cookies, we do not store your details in order to sell them to third parties and we won’t trick you with sneaky changes made to our policies without you being aware.

Our mission is to help you share and gain knowledge and help improve wisdom throughout the medical world. To do that, we show you content that fits your medical expertise and interest, based on information you provide us. We only use information where we have a proper legal basis for doing so.

How PONSIST uses Cookies?


When you use and access the platform, we place several cookies files in your web browser. We use cookies for the following purposes:


To enable certain functions of the platform;


We use both session and persistent cookies on the platform and we use different types of cookies to run the platform called Essential Cookies;


We use essential cookies to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of user accounts.

Log Files

The purpose of the information is to analyse for trends, administering the site, analysis of website usage and gathering demographic information.


Personal Information


When you sign up for or use PONSIST, certain information is given to us voluntarily. This includes your name, email address, phone number, medical license number, profile photo, comments, medical specialty, areas of interest and any other information that you may provide. 

We gather the initial information for verification purposes. Upon being provided access to the Society you can delete, edit or add information to your profile at any time. 

We will not use, share or sell any of your information outside PONSIST Global Healthcare Society, period.


How and when we share information?


PONSIST is exclusively available to members who are verified Healthcare professionals (in training). Our closed Society and its content are inaccessible by anyone or anything outside of the platform.


Only verified members are allowed access to the Society’s content. Visibility of content within the Society is based on preferences regarding medical specialty.

Once credentialed and verified, other members can see your profile with the information you have chosen to display.


In case a law enforcement authority as well as the law itself dictates us to share information relating to your account, we will cooperate with the relevant authority, order or request. However, we will only share information if we believe that such disclosures are reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or PONSIST; or to detect, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. 


How long we keep your information?


We keep your information only for the period necessary to provide PONSIST to you and fulfil the various purposes described in this policy. When there is no need to use your information and/or there is no need for us to keep it to  comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies, we will delete such information from our systems or depersonalise it.

PONSIST is very passionate about and dedicated to anyone’s privacy. We feel that it is anyones right to have their privacy protected. The only exception to this is when you break the law.

We will not make use of commercial third parties.


We are not interested in doing anything with your data that goes against our own believes.

Changes to this policy


We may change this policy from time to time and if we do, we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use PONSIST after those changes are in effect, it is being understood that you agree to the new policy.
